The Priority of His Presence

We pursue the presence of God first.

We choose to walk daily in the Spirit, listen for the voice of God, and respond to His leading. His presence is not reserved for a church service. It is the atmosphere of our lives.

Heart Check: Have I been with Jesus today?

"If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." Galatians 5:25

Our Culture: Presence over performance.

The Promise of Transformation

We believe an encounter with Jesus changes everything.

Through His grace, His truth, His Word, and His Spirit, God continually transforms us into the image and maturity of Jesus Christ.

We do not simply seek information about God. We allow what we receive from God to change who we are.

The Privilege of Serving

We believe serving is an honor.

God has uniquely gifted every believer to strengthen His Church and add value to the lives of others.

We do not simply attend New Life. We are New Life.

Every person has a place. Every gift has a purpose. Every act of service matters.

Our Culture: Contribution over consumption.

The Principle of Giving

We live generously because everything we have belongs to God.

Generosity is more than an offering. It is a Kingdom way of life.

We faithfully steward our time, talents, resources, finances, influence, and opportunities for the purposes of God.

Heart Check: Am I faithfully stewarding what God has placed in my hands?

The Power of Sending

Every believer is called. Every believer is equipped. Every believer is sent.

The Church was never created simply to gather.

We gather to be equipped, and we are equipped to be sent.

Jesus has commissioned us to carry the Gospel into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, communities, cities, and nations.

We believe the mission of the Book of Acts continues through the Church today.

Heart Check: Have I accepted my mission?

"And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ." Acts 5:42

Our Culture: Mission over maintenance.

Our Faith

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for our faith, doctrine, and Christian living. Cultures change. Opinions change. Generations change. The Word of God does not.

THE ONE TRUE GOD

We believe there is one true and living God, and that He has revealed Himself to humanity in Jesus Christ. God is one. Jesus Christ is the visible revelation of the invisible God. He is fully God and fully man, and in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1, 14; John 14:9; Colossians 1:15; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16

SALVATION

We believe salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone and is made available to us by the grace of God through faith. Salvation cannot be earned through good works, religious effort, heritage, or human achievement. It is the gift of God. Biblical faith calls us to respond to the Gospel through repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit.

WATER BAPTISM IN JESUS' NAME

We believe water baptism is an essential part of the New Testament new-birth experience. Those who repent and believe the Gospel are baptized by full immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Water baptism is a response of faith and obedience in which we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the promise of the Holy Spirit is for every believer. When a person receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, God fills that believer with His Spirit and empowers them to live for Him, witness for Him, serve His Kingdom, and participate in His mission. We believe the biblical initial evidence of receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

CHRISTIAN LIVING AND HOLINESS

We believe a life that follows Jesus should increasingly reflect Jesus. Holiness is not empty religion or an attempt to earn salvation. It is the response of a life that belongs to God. Through His grace, His Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are called to grow in Christlikeness and live holy lives before God and humanity.

DIVINE HEALING, SIGNS AND MIRACLES

We believe the supernatural power of God remains active in His Church today. The God who moved in the Book of Acts has not changed. We pray for the sick, believe in divine healing, embrace the gifts of the Spirit, and expect God to work through signs, wonders, and miracles according to His will. Scripture: Mark 16:17-18; Acts 4:29-31; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11; James 5:14-16; Hebrews 13:8

THE RETURN OF CHRIST AND ETERNITY

We believe Jesus Christ is coming again for His Church. We look with expectation toward the return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection and transformation of His people. We believe the Church will be caught away to be with Christ prior to the Great Tribulation and that those who belong to Him will remain with the Lord forever. Because we believe He is coming again, we choose to live faithfully, watchfully, ready for His return, and committed to His mission. Scripture: John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; Titus 2:13
